Yashi Carrington is a wife and mom of 1, and the mind behind the “Mind of Yash” platform. She was an academic for most of her life, with a BSc and Chemical and Process Engineering and MSc in Environmental Science and Management. While she appreciates and is proud of her academic background, she always had a desire to do something more with her life and to have the means to help more people.
When she had her daughter in 2018, she started a journey to follow her passions and dreams fully, being inspired to be the best example for her daughter and to spend more time with her. She started out just blogging about her life and adventures but then pivoted towards a specific life struggle – her Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) diagnosis. While this has been a pain point for most of her life, Yashi is now using her experience to help other women with PCOS deal with its symptoms with a positive attitude. The Art of Being A Woman Masterclass changed her life and helped her develop the mindset and skills to start building the life she dreamed of – one of freedom and impact.
HOW HAS THE ABW MASTERCLASS BENEFITED YOU?
The ABW Masterclass transformed my life. It might sound so cliché but there is no other way I could put it. For most of my life, I have lived with a fear of failure and constant comparison. I placed my worth in my accomplishments without realising that I did. I would be afraid to try anything that could result in possible failure. I didn’t allow myself to make mistakes and would be my worst critic when I did.
This Masterclass gave me a new perspective on my self-image. I started growing, taking risks, failing forward but not beating myself up when things didn’t go as planned. I started paying attention to the arenas I had been neglecting. I began having more self-compassion instead of unrealistic self-expectations.
My confidence and belief in myself have increased ten-fold and I have started taking the steps to design my dream life. The biggest thing is that now I ABSOLUTELY believe ANYONE can have their dreams, once he/she builds a strong mindset, the right skills and solicit a guide/coach.

What’s the best part about being a Woman School Strategist and helping women?
Being part of the mission to change culture, one’s woman worth at a time.
I have such a heart for women with PCOS, because I can relate to the associated struggles. It can take a toll on your mental health and self-worth. I really want to help those women see that they are so much more than their diagnosis and that they can thrive despite the challenges.
But even more so, I have a heart for women. In today’s world, so much is demanded of us and we are not equipped with the right tools. I want to help other women the way the ABW Masterclass helped me. I want to see them learn to live a life of wholeness and to uncover their God-given calling. It is the most fulfilling thing to see a woman grow into the woman she was meant to be.

Why do you believe in this work?
I believe in this work because I am a product of the product. I never imagined that I could overcome years of fear, anxiety and negative thinking. I am so proud of the woman I am becoming.
I’m not perfect but I face my challenges head-on with a calm and positive mindset (LITERALLY from my power scripts). I not only give myself grace but I have found my calling, so I will do what is necessary to fulfil what God has put in my heart. I sincerely want this for other women. I have too many women in my life who feel stuck and overwhelmed and I want to help change that culture.
