Laura is on the cusp of a new season in life. As an “experienced” mom of 6 young-adult children and her last homeschooled son in high school, she is excited to embrace this new chapter in her life.
Having seen some of her friends flounder during this time, she is taking massive action to avoid that by joining The Woman School Strategist Team.
She is looking forward to helping other women embrace who they are and what they can become.
Homeschooling for 20 + years and blogging about it for almost as long, her heart is in working with other homeschooling moms who are struggling with overwhelm and lack of confidence. Having seen how comparison can weigh heavily on homeschool moms, she hopes to help them reach a better level of self-confidence and peace about their homeschooling.
In addition, she encourages women who are about to be empty-nesters to take action now to be ready for this big change of season.

When you’re facing the end of a major season in your life, you become a bit introspective. Problem was, I was falling into too much introspection and not enough action.

What’s the best part about being a Woman School Strategist and helping women?
I have loved helping other women for as long as I can remember. Being a Strategist and helping other women with every aspect of their life is something that excites me.
About 10 years ago I wrote a book that helps homeschooling moms organize their day. The problem was, it didn’t help some of the women and now I know why: they need to do the foundational work first before they can do the “how-to” work.
I’m thrilled to be helping them with the foundation!
