Jill Simons is a wife and mother of three living and working in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Having started her first business at the age of 14, Jill is currently on entrepreneurship round 3, serving as founder and creative director at the Christian women’s lifestyle brand Pink Salt Riot.

HOW HAS THE ABW MASTERCLASS BENEFITED YOU?
The ABW masterclass showed me a path to intention and wholeness that I had never even dreamed I could find. I was running a very successful business when I started and had a wonderful marriage, but everything else in my life was falling apart. My health was in shambles on every front. My house was a wreck. I had very little time for friendship. I felt like I was always treading water.
The MasterClass showed me that this wasn’t my destiny. I didn’t have to live like this and I could blaze a trail in a new direction, without relying on a mindset of punishment and negativity to motivate myself like I had in the past.

What’s the best part about being a Woman School Strategist and helping women?
I’ve always had a heart for women. Whether it was focusing on creating products for women in the companies that I have run or becoming a Strategist so that I can concretely walk with women in their personal stories, I have always found such a great joy in uplifting others. I think often of the idea that the tide raises all ships. In helping others reach the next level I am pushed to do the same myself. It is hard and vibrant work that is always different and always transformative.
WHAT’S THE BEST PART ABOUT BEING A WOMAN SCHOOL STRATEGIST AND HELPING WOMEN?
I’ve always had a heart for women. Whether it was focusing on creating products for women in the companies that I have run or becoming a Strategist so that I can concretely walk with women in their personal stories, I have always found such a great joy in uplifting others. I think often of the idea that the tide raises all ships. In helping others reach the next level I am pushed to do the same myself. It is hard and vibrant work that is always different and always transformative.
Why do you believe in this work?
I think that a disservice has been done to every woman who has never been exposed to these ideas. I think about how the trajectory of my life could’ve been radically different if I had had these tools at a much younger age and it drives my desire to give these tools not only to my own children and women in my life, but other women who I might not have met except for doing this work.
