In the 2012 and 2016 presidential races, Elizabeth served as a strategist, surrogate speaker, and major donor liaison for Senator Rick Santorum. She was featured on major news outlets, such as CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC, as well as nationally syndicated radio shows talking about the hot button issues of the day. She was named on Red Alert Politics ’30 Under 30’ List. In 2014, she co-authored a book about the life of her sister with special needs, entitled Bella’s Gift. It would go on to become a New York Times Best Seller.
Elizabeth holds a Masters in Theological Studies from the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dallas. She was also a John Jay Fellow, an Alliance Defending Freedom Areté
Fellow, and has spent many weeks in Africa doing educational mission work, with a specific focus on faith formation. To date, she has traveled to thirty-six countries and is passionate about the global, human family.
Elizabeth met her husband, Matt, when studying abroad in Ireland. Matt and Elizabeth serve as a founding couple of Cana Uncorked DC, a Catholic marriage enrichment program for couples in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. She also serves on the board of the Guiding Star Project who has clinics throughout the country delivering holistic women’s healthcare. They reside in Northern Virginia with their dog, Teddy.
